This 1963 Burns of London original Jazz Guitar Split Sound is known as the Wild Dog. You can turn the pick selector switch to a setting that actually reads "Wild Dog". As a youngster it was my dream guitar, but they were expensive and I had to settle for a Stratocaster. This British built icon features those Burns pickups that Brian May favors. The neck is fantastic! I consider this to be a working dog class instrument. The excellent vibrato system is fully intact and functions perfectly and the sculptural whammy bar hasn't been misplaced over the years. There are a couple of holes drilled in the pick guard, and the bridge cover is missing. That being said, you can own a real classic that you won't be afraid to take on stage or into the studio for only $995! This is not a reissue!
