"When They Were Boys" by Larry Kane is the best Beatle biography I have ever read, and I have read a lot of them. Larry traveled with the band on many of their tours including the first American tour. He is a journalist who became close personal friends with each of them. His research is thorough with many sources cited. Borrow it from our library, get it through inter library loan, or better yet buy a copy for the music lover on your Christmas list! Happy reading!
