Why would you want to read about power ballads and the AOR Glory Years? Like me, you may not have been a huge fan of Toto, Loverboy, Styx, Boston, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, and the like, but beware, after reading this fantastic book, you will have a much greater respect for them, and may even need to increase your record collection. These are the stories of real people striving to create the best music they can despite all odds. You really get to know some of them. Some I feel would be fun to hang out with, others not so much. Regardless, they have great stories. When asked what his greatest accomplishment was, Bryan Adams simply replied, "Paying my rent." Check this out at the "Rock and Roll Library."
