Dunghuang Pipa

This is a high quality Chinese lute guitar, It has raised frets, so that it feels like a scolloped fretboard. The geared tuning machines are very stable and the intonation is good. I wimped out and tuned it like a tenor guitar, but other tunings are in Chinese in the paperwork. This Pipa is in fine condition with a little finish flaking, but nothing serious. It ism a very cool instrument with a great vibe and lots of potential. It really sounds good and comes with a nice hard case. $150!!!! Find another!
