1978 Music Man Sabre II
This rarity was made on Leo's watch at Music Man and features many of his forward thinking ideas. The neck is very familiar feeling. It truly feels like some of the finest vintage Fender guitars I have ever played. It has great action and the strings bend clearly and effortlessly despite having the traditional 7.25 fretboard radius. This simply doesn't happen with most guitars. This beauty boasts two large humbuckers and a host of sounds ranging from traditional Fenderish to much more aggressive attack and sustain,
due in part to a rather unique onboard preamp. This guitar has plenty of honest wear. The frets are a bit worn, but didn't bother me playing it this morning. I really like this one and I think you will too. $895 with non-original hard case.
