Sandra is a fantastic writer! This one is a real page turner. It is very well researched, but reads like fiction. Can you imagine, Eric Clapton listening to The Band's first album, quitting Cream, traveling to Woodstock to ask to join The Band, but lacking the nerve to do so? In addition to being lead vocalist on most of The Band's recordings, Levon was a world class drummer, guitarist and mandolin player. Levon was was an accomplished actor working with Jane Fonda and Sissy Spacek, to name a few. Levon worked a lot with Ringo, and recorded with Keith Richards. Bill Johnson generously donated this to the Rock and Roll Library so you can check it out! BTW President Bill Clinton recommends this book!
