This celebrity owned forty plus years old beauty is Gibson's effort to build a reissue of a 1958 Les Paul Standard. I just set this one up this afternoon, and it is certainly one of the finest Les Pauls I have ever played. It has a lot of honest wear, but it feels wonderful and sounds spectacular. I sold this to the single original owner when it was new. He changed the bridge to a Tone Pro after the original failed. Strap locks have been added along with a new jack plate. The pick guard is long gone. This has been played in numerous concerts and used on two major albums. "Second" is stamped on the back of the headstock for no reason that we were ever able to determine. $4000 with original but worn hard case.
