This guitar has just the right amount of wear...mostly on the metal parts to give it that comfortable worn in feel. There is a little wear on some of the frets, but not enough to bother with. This the the Gretsch that George went to when he wanted a more rare and aggressive sound for "Day Tripper" making it know as the "Day Tripper Guitar".
